Foi revelado nesta terça-feira (28), os indicados a 72ª edição do Emmy Awards pela Academia de Artes & Ciências Televisivas. O anúncio foi realizado em uma live apresentada pelos atores Leslie Jones, Laverne Cox, Josh Gad e Tatiana Maslany.
Entre os destaques estão as séries Watchmen na categoria de série limitada, com indicação na categoria de melhor série, atriz principal (Regina King) e ator coadjuvante (Jeremy Irons). No total, contando as categorias técnicas, a série obteve 26 indicações e é a mais indicada da premiação – confira todas com detalhe logo mais.
Na categoria de série por temporada, a maior surpresa foi a indicação de The Mandalorian, primeira série live-action de Star Wars que conquistou os fãs no último ano. Stranger Things recebeu pela terceira vez sua indicação como Melhor Série e uma das maiores sensações de 2019, Euphoria, recebeu uma indicação de Melhor Atriz para Zendaya.
A premiação acontece no dia 20 de setembro em formato ainda não anunciado, mas é provável que seja em formato digital.
